Cancellation Policy

Scope

This policy applies to The Trading Fair 2026, organized by Sophron® Amsterdam Investment Club ("Sophron®"). By registering for this event, you agree to the terms outlined below and commit to participation.

Penalty Policy

Participants may be subject to a penalty fee under the conditions outlined below.

• If you cancel at least two weeks before the event (before 23:59), no penalty fee will be charged.
• If you cancel less than two weeks before the start of the event, a €75.00 penalty fee will be charged.
• If you do not show up without prior cancellation, a €100.00 penalty fee will be charged.

The applicable criteria above will be used to determine whether a penalty applies.

Any applicable penalty fee must be paid within 14 days after notification. Failure to do so may result in exclusion from future events.

Banlist Policy

Sophron® applies a banlist policy for all events to ensure commitment and fairness towards other participants.

• If you cancel at least two weeks before the event (before 23:59), you will not be placed on the banlist.
• If you cancel less than two weeks before the start of the event, you may be placed on the banlist.
• If you fail to show up without cancellation, you may be placed on the banlist.

The duration of any banlist placement is determined by Sophron®, taking into account the nature of the cancellation. Sophron® reserves the right to assess exceptional circumstances.

Please use the subject line: "Cancellation – [Event Name]".

Force Majeure

Sophron® reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control. In such cases, Sophron® shall not be held liable for any resulting damages or costs incurred.
